This is a safe space to talk, share experiences and connect with other international students. Facilitated by Gemma Williams, this hour each week has been set aside for you to come and take a break from the stress of your studies and daily life. There will sometimes be wellness activities, games, short walks or just time to chat with each other. This is a group-led hour that focuses on what you want and need from each session. There is no pressure to participate or talk in these sessions. You are encouraged to use this hour however best serves you with the comfort of an international student adviser nearby.
WHEN: Every Tuesday (Term Time Only) 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
WHERE: Training Room - Top Floor of the Learning Resource Centre - Bishop Otter Campus (maps link)
Please note that the international student advisers are not qualified mental health professionals. If you are struggling with hard-to-manage or worsening mental health troubles, you may be directed to talk to a member of our Wellbeing team.
